Final Idea

 A homeless man, who used to be an engineer, living in dystopian Hong Kong finds an old vintage camera in a dumpster. When he brings it back to his shed and tries to use it, he realises that he can see a utopian world (a parallel universe). He then builds a weird projector, in hopes of being able to jump into the new universe.

Possible Idea 1 

The Magic Jacket 

-Man needs a Jacket, therefore he goes to a shop to buy one. He selects it and buys it, only briefly checking size. He goes home and puts it on and finds out that this jacket is magical, so when he tries to wear it it comes off of his body. He then tries to strap the jacket together, binding it so it won't come off, so the jacket starts to burn him. Later will he know that the jacket needs to become his friend first.

Possible Idea 2

Magical Faucette

-A man buys a new house and gets a warning saying the house is connected to its owners. 

Then one day he finds out that this washroom sink is connected to him. So when the sink faucet is turned on he then starts feeling like he wants to pee and starts peeing his pants. He is confused what to do and doesn't do anything.

 

Option 1 - He has a house gathering and everyone is having a normal day with conversations going. One of the guests decides to go to the toilet and he realises this too late and has to stop the guest from using the faucet. 

 

Option 2 - He goes to work, but all of a sudden he feels like peeing because as he left his home, he left the faucet dripping. So this would mean he would have to go through a struggle to not pee his pants

 

Later needs to find out how to stop this faucet.

Love Short Film
 

  • A couple met up by faith? (Girl lost her dog, boy brings it to her)

  • Oblivious to finding this one girl, he doesn’t realise that “the one” has been close to him this whole time

  • A man develops a strong relationship with the barista and falls in love with her. One day when he comes to the coffee shop, she is no longer there. Falling in love, not with the person but the idea of the person.

  • There is a new/transfer student, he is not popular and he does not have friends.  But he does magic tricks in his free time (either in a classroom or on the street like a street performer).  One day he sees this girl (who’s one of those popular kids), and the new guy (who likes her) wants to impress her with his magic.  Will he be able to get the girl?  Or will he end up staying in the corner for the rest of his school life?

  • A couple gets sick of their third wheel constantly annoying them, that they decide to try and find a girl for him 

 
Action Short Film
 

  • A boy’s house gets robbed by a very old friend who was once a really good person but now changes, in the end, he becomes good again

  • Whenever the character opens the faucet to wash his face, all his past memories flash before his eyes (parents arguing, family member going to the hospital in ambulance, etc)

 

Comedic Short Film
 

  • A man is in need of jacket, so he purchases one and after realises that the jacket may be possessed and doesn’t allow him to wear it (for example it will fall off his body, burn him tighten)

  • When a faucet is turned on this guy pisses or when he's run out of urine he would still be getting the urges. His friends come over one day and when one of them goes to the toilet he realises he will piss if that guy switches on the faucet so he somehow needs to stop him from switching it on....later to discover a note under the faucet saying “treat the house well because it's connected to you”…(maybe-plot twist it was a dream and he pissed his own pants)

  • A couple or friends have an argument about whether magic is real or not.. when the girlfriend/friend goes for a shower, he/she magically disappears and friend needs to try and find her. The friend decides to follow her/him and gets teleported to Hong Kong where he has to search for her/him and suddenly *

  • Two fathers argue about who the better basketball player was during their middle school years. They play an epic basketball game which actually isn't so epic

 
Mystery Short Film

 

  • A family is seen sad suddenly and two friends wonder what happened to their friend. So later  they attempt to find out because friends family won’t tell them what happened so they attempt to find out

  • Trapped in a camera - A man finds a camera and looks through the viewfinder to find a mysterious woman, who cannot be seen in reality. He follows this mysterious woman through the viewfinder. He then starts to snap pictures of this mysterious but beautiful women, through ever snap, she gets closer and closer to the camera (him), then snaps and switches places, the guy being in the camera and the girl is out.

  • Guys find a Camera that was left in the attic, So he decides to switch it on and look through the viewfinder to check if it still works, but what he see’s is a utopian world. He is a person who is frustrated by today’s dystopian world, so he goes around the city and looks through the perspective of a utopian world (parallel universe). He then turns around and see’s himself, mimicking himself. He touches his other self and they switch sides, where he is now in the Utopian place where every where he goes people are really friendly and immediately feels happy.
