Story overview - Spolier Alert

Man is dying and is in a purgatory but remains in the same world. He is living in a world of dystopia for few years and has to survive. He scavenges for supplies. Until this man finds a magical camera, which shows him a parralel universe of utopia. He goes around the area and see the world, but cannot experience it fully. He goes home and sits down and find out that he can project the image on a screen. He sees a note inside the camera and can't figure it out, but believes it means to build a projector. He builds a projector and sits down pleased, even though he cannot go there, untill suddenly he sees leaves blow through the screen.
